Shipping policy

  • Perishable Products

    • Shipped Mondays & Tuesdays during warmer months.
    • Flash frozen for freshness. May arrive partially frozen—please refrigerate or refreeze immediately.
    • Allow 24–72 hours to thaw in the refrigerator before serving
  • UPS Shipping is used for all orders.
  • Standard Ground delivery: 2–4 business days in most areas.
  • Shipping days with Ground UPS: Monday and Tuesday for all states, Wednesday for TX and LA.
  • Two-day delivery recommended during warmer months.
  • Saturday delivery available in some areas according to UPS availability.
  • No Sunday or Monday deliveries.
  • Alaska & Hawaii: Require 2nd Day Air and incur an additional fee.
  • No international shipping (due to USDA regulations). Customers may arrange their own overseas carrier if desired.

 

Order Processing

  • No same-day shipping. Order cutoff time at 12:00 PM CST to process the next business day.
  • We ask for a ship date in your order notes (not delivery date). If none is given, we’ll ship within 24–48 hours of the next shipping day.
  • During holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas), please allow 7–10 business days for delivery.

 

Addresses

  • Street addresses only – no PO Boxes, APO, or FPO.
  • If shipping to a business, customer is responsible for ensuring deliveries can be accepted.
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses void our delivery guarantee and may result in additional charges.

 

Changes & Cancellations

  • Must be received at least 5 days before ship date.
  • Once processing has started, an $11 fee applies for address changes or cancellations.

 

Receipt & Inspection

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival and refrigerate if applicable.
  • Issues must be reported by the next business day by calling (903)935-5995.
  • No refunds will be issued after this timeframe.

 

Delays

  • We make every effort to ship on schedule, but delays may occur due to weather, holidays, UPS restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
  • Bear Creek Smokehouse is not responsible for delays or spoilage caused by acts of God, weather, pandemics, riots, or carrier disruptions.

 

🎄 Holiday Ordering & Delivery

  • Order early – we recommend choosing delivery dates to arrive one to two weeks before the holiday.
  • Please note: Shipping services do not guarantee holiday deliveries due to high volume.
  • We’ll make every effort to ship your order as requested, but once your package leaves our facility, delivery is in the carrier’s hands.
  • For current order cut-off dates/times, please contact us directly. We’re happy to guide you to the best shipping option.
